Cultivation is a simple utility routine that will use Gold (Never Gems) to cultivate a General. It is run On-Demand or as part of your regular cycle of routines.

You can choose which properties to cultivate and what your target value should be for each.

Targets Needed is how many of the selected properties need to exceed the target in order for the routine to be considered complete.

Cultivation will continue until one of the following circumstances are met.

  • The routine is complete for the current general as per Targets Needed above.
  • The maximum number of cultivations has been performed for the current general.
  • The maximum Cultivation time has been exceeded.
  • All generals have been cultivated in the current cycle

If the routine is run during the regular routine cycle, it will select each general in the list in turn, cultivate it until one of the above events occurs then move onto the next General.

See General Selection for how generals are selected.

What circumstances will will trigger cultivation acceptance?

It will accept if the total net gain of all of your selected attributes is positive and reject if negative.

If the total net gain is 0, it will accept if it means the value difference between the top 2 selected attributes would be reduced. The idea being that reducing the high and increasing the low values brings them closer together so you are more likely to get closer to the targets for all attributes.

If you select only a single attribute, accepting a 0 net gain does nothing. The unselected attributes are not taken into account because they are unselected.

Gather Troops

The Gather Troops event has new rewards for cultivating generals.  It is approximately 200,000 Gems for cultivating 1000 times.

If you cultivate a single general that is currently not cultivated at all, this is an outlay of 20,000 Gems giving you a profit of 180,000 Gems each time the Gather Troops event runs.

To keep the outlay to the minimum, cultivate ONLY an uncultivated general as the cost is greater as cultivation values increase.

If the Gather Troops section of the Cultivation routine is enabled, it will cultivate the selected general 10 times using the 100 cultivations button.  Each cultivation will be cancelled to prevent the cost increasing.

This mode will run  only once each time the Gather Troops event runs. To force it to run again,. turn off the Cultivation routine and turn it back on to reset the data.
